Obsessive? Me?
For the interested, here’s an unordered list of the tracks the foot & I played yesterday, on camp catatonia’s one-and-only appearance as a guest DJ team at the Euroranch’s outing in Volksgarten Pavillon. It was hot’n nice, and there was a thunderstorm in the middle of the set which for a moment shut off the light, but kept the music going. If I remember correctly, this happened right in the middle of Badmarsh & Shri’s “Bang”. Beautifull timing, really.
Many thanks to the Euroranch gang, again, and to Monsieur Wallnöfer for bringing an extra CD-player plus cable, and to all who were there. It was a lot of fun, though somewhat hard on my thighs – I do have sore muscles from all these knee bends in front of the CD-player. What the heck, having (for the most part) waved good-bye to vinyl now finally pays off in terms of getting me some exercise. Ok, enough verbiage, here’s the music:
- Southern Culture on the Skids: “Camel Walk”
- Mohammed Rafi: “Jaan Pehechaan Ho”
- Badmarsh & Shri: “The Asian Detective”
- Kalyanji/Anandji vs. Dan The Automator:”Ganges A Go-go”
